ENERGY ALLIANCE PROGRAM

The Energy Alliance, sponsored by the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce is designed to help reduce electricity and natural gas costs through the purchasing power of a large group.

Any size business can sign up for the Alliance program and will get an offer only if it will be a benefit. Some accounts may be better off staying with the utility they are currently with and will be told so.

ELIGIBILITY

The Energy Alliance is open to all Cayuga County Chamber Of Commerce Members. To be eligible to receive proposals and to reduce your energy costs, please complete the Participation Authorization and return it to the Chamber. The Authorization is non-binding and costs nothing. All we ask is a commitment to consider the best offer the Alliance can develop and present to you. Meanwhile we and our consultants will be authorized by you to obtain your energy use data from your utility and review it on a confidential basis. The data will be used to procure a power supplier able and qualified to serve you and all our participants.

PROCEDURE

After collecting energy use data, the Alliance will work to develop the best possible deal for electricity and or natural gas from the growing number of companies licensed to engage in retail sales of energy in New York State. Pursuant to a Program Agreement based on the most competitive offer, the supplier will give you an estimate of your potential savings, notify you of the terms and recommend that you execute an agreement with the supplier. The final decision is up to you.

Again you are able to participate in this process at no cost or obligation. You will pay only for the electricity or natural gas you buy.

CONSULTANT SUPPORT

The Alliance’s exclusive consultants for this program will be EneryNext, Inc. who will provide energy consulting services to other Chambers of Commerce including Plattsburg, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Watertown, plus a wide variety of institutions, associations and municipalities throughout New York Sate, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The firm works exclusively on behalf of energy consumers and does not represent any supplier, marketer or aggregator. Their mission is to obtain the best possible deal for energy suppliers and services for its clients. EneryNext, Inc. will work directly with you in determining your needs and in helping you obtain competitive energy supplies and services based on a Program Agreement they will competitively procure and negotiate for the Alliance.
