A Finger Lakes Grants Information Center Workshop: We are a Foundation Center funding information network partner
This course will help you discover how to find potential funders and what they are looking for in nonprofits seeking grants. You will learn the 10 most important things about finding grants, including:
Who funds nonprofits and what are their motivations?
What do funders really want to know about the organizations they are interested in funding?
How do you identify potential funders and make the first approach?
This also qualifies as an Orientation Session for using the Foundation Center database. You are encouraged to bring your laptop or tablet to follow along, but it’s not a requirement.
There is no fee for this Foundation Center class but you must register.
Water and coffee provided. You are welcome to bring your lunch!
